How to Apply

New Students

If you are planning on living in Marathon Hall, the best advice we can give is to apply early!  The residence hall fills up fast.  Assignments are made on a first-come first-serve basis, so it is to your advantage to send in your housing contract, $150 deposit, and all necessary paperwork as soon as possible.  If you apply late you may be placed on a waiting list.

Room (and roommate) assignments are made early in the summer and students are sent their room assignment and roommate information around the middle of July.  Contracts received after that time, are assigned as time and spaces permit.

Returning Students

Student’s currently living at Marathon Hall will be sent information in March/April regarding the room reapplication process.  Students who wish to live in the same room may do so.  Students wanting to live in a different room for the following year should follow the procedures outlined in the room reapplication materials.
