Why Distance Education?
A campus may offer classes via Distance Education (DE) when it is not possible to offer them live. In a DE class, a student participates in the course at a location other than that of the instructor. DE classes are not recommended for every student. It takes a high degree of motivation and planning to do well in a class offered via DE. Please consult with Student Services personnel at the campus you plan to attend and the instructor of the course.
Physics Classes Via DE
Currently we offer only PHY 142 via DE. The class was first offered in Spring 2001. The current instructor is Professor Roberta Koch (UW-Baraboo) and the class is taught using Compressed Video. For information about enrolling in this course, please contact Student Services personnel at the campus you plan to attend.
