Student Services

Welcome to UWMC!

As a UWMC student, you will be enrolled in one of the finest higher education systems in the world!

Campus Visit and Application

If you are a New Student that means that you have already applied and been accepted to UWMC. If not, apply here. Also, if you want to see the campus and make sure it is right for you, come visit.

New Student Registration

New student registration is an opportunity for you to learn about the university, along with the expectations and opportunities it offers. It is also an opportunity to meet staff & faculty and choose coursework for the fall semester. You will meet with academic advisors and choose course schedules that will be best suited for you in terms of course placement, majors, interests and goals.

After you have been admitted to UWMC, you need to register for classes. Register as early as possible to get the classes you want.

Information on the New Student Registration sessions will be sent out. If you have any questions, please contact Andrew Marciniak in Registration & Records, or call him at 715-261-6239.

Change of Plans?

If you no longer plan on attending UWMC in the fall, please email the Admissions Office at uwmcadmit@uwc.edu OR print & mail us the Registration Cancellation Form (PDF).

Deciding what classes to take

The Office of Student Affairs can assist you in many ways! Advisors in Student Affairs can help you select coursework and alert you to information and special opportunities. Students are encouraged to consult an advisor concerning choosing a major, course selection and career options.

The course schedule allows you to search for courses in a variety of ways - by course, department, instructor, evening class times, and more!

There are a variety of course options to choose from, including blended courses, evening courses, Distance Education Courses and Online Courses (through UW-Colleges Online).

When you are ready to choose your classes, you will register by using the UW-System Registration system (PRISM).
