Wausau native Dan Venne is a guitarist, composer, and teacher who now lives in Brooklyn, playing post rock, classical repertoire and contemporary jazz. He has performed throughout Europe and done gigs in Argentina, and has served on the faculty at Beloit College (WI) and New York University (NY). He has a Master of Fine Arts in jazz guitar performance from New York University and has studied under John Scofield, Richard Davis, Bruce Arnold, Tony Moreno, Javier Calderon, and many others.
