This page contains links to hypertext materials concerning the geology of Earth that are of a general, "textbook" nature. As such, you might find them a useful complement to the course text.

• NASA's Introduction to the Planets allows you to contrast Earth with the other terrestrial planets.
• The Earth's Interior and Plate Tectonics is a general introduction to Earth's interior and to its lithospheric plates.
• An Introduction to Geodynamics is an excellent overview of Earth's dynamism from UNC Chapel Hill (but auto loading images will take a long time with this site).
