The first diagram depicts changes in ozone concentration with height, for each month of 1997. Note the extremely low partial pressures in October and November.

The second diagram depicts the same data for 1987 (note slight shift in location). Contrast the ozone concentrations in October-November of this year with those of 1997. The deterioration in the situation is obvious.
