Course Description:

         This course involves the projection of 3-D space onto a
         2-D plane (orthographic projection) to analyze and solve
         3-D problems involving points, lines, planes, and solids.

         Course topics include: sketching, instrument drawing,
         and CAD (computer-aided drafting) using CADKEY software;
         3-dimensional analysis of points, lines, planes, and
         solids; intersections of planes and solids; developments
         (patterns) of solid objects.

         The course will help to improve the student's ability to
         analyze and interpret information, select appropriate
         solution techniques, generate the solutions, and then
         interpret the results. Drawings will be generated with
         the aid of computer programs allowing the student to
         expand his or her abilities to visualize 3-D effects.
