ABOUT THE PLANETARIUM

The UWMC Planetarium is open for educational presen- tations to groups, upon appointment, and for seasonal public presentations. These are educational presentations and not suitable for children under the age of 4. 

Fee: $1.50 per person with a minimum charge of $15.00 per group. The Planetarium seats a maximum of 36. 

UWMC’s Planetarium was  refurbished with a generous grant from the B.A. and Esther Greenheck Foundation Fund, and additional support from David Murdock, M.D.

 

 

WHERE IS THE PLANETARIUM?

It is located on the 7th Ave. side of the UWMC campus.  The closest entrances are the southern door on 7th Ave.  and the Garfield Ave. door.

VOLUNTEER DOCENTS   Planetarium presentations are made by a group of volunteer docents with a strong interest in astronomy. New volunteers are always welcome.
