If you’re interested in intercollegiate competition, UW-Marathon County has several varsity sports that will enable you to compete with students at other campuses throughout the state. You don’t need to be a sports superstar; you do need to love the sport, enjoy competition, and be willing to give it your best effort.
The UWMC Huskies are members of the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) which is comprised of the thirteen UW Colleges campuses. In addition to competition in the WCC, the Huskies compete in many non-conference events.
We are very proud of the honors and awards that our athletes have received for their excellence in play.
As a member of the WCC, UWMC is subject to the rules and regulations of the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference.
All students that are interested in participating in intercollegiate athletics at UW-Marathon County must complete the required forms and turn them into their head coach or athletic director Bart Gray.
The University of Wisconsin-Marathon County Athletics Department holds its players to high academic standards. The Athlete Grade Report Form is utilized to facilitate communication between instructors and coaches regarding academic performance. Permission from the students to release this information to the Athletic Department is obtained and kept on file with the Athletic Director.
